I think you touch on important issues in education. I've heard people criticize the standardized curriculum, but I have to disagree a bit. Primary education is there to provide a foundation. Kids and college students will change their interests and passions a million times over. If you want to be an engineer you need math. If you want to be a lawyer, you need reading and writing skills. Other skills that are picked up along the way include critical thinking, problem solving, and communication.

Education should be this country's number 1 priority. We need to standardize the curriculum so that the schools in the south aren't teaching abstinence only sex education. The inner cities need greater investment. At a bare minimum, every student should have access to necessary resources and a safe learning environment.

College costs are overinflated and need to be cut down. An educated population is a benefit to the whole society. We need to support our students.
