Great article. Unfortunately, the police officers will not see prosecution. Under a technical reading of the law, their actions would not rise to meet the elements of murder. The larger issue is that their presence and actions were made possible by yet another horrible policy left over from the "War on Drugs", no-knock warrants. It took the judge 12 minutes to issue it. In a country where every citizen can keep a gun in the house, our courts issue these warrants at an absurdly disgusting rate.
