America spent two trillion dollars equipping and training the Afghan forces for 20 years. Paid even more with American blood. Yet, the Afghan forces literally handed over their guns, their depots, and their equipment and gave away their country to the Taliban. If Afghan forces were willing to hand the country over so willingly, why should more Americans die? Any other nation that is critical of the U.S. position is more than welcome to step in and fight.
